Brett Jackson (Jumbli)

A fledgling Jumbli

When I was young I longed to fly like a bird. I'd stand on a chair flap my arms as hard as I could and launch myself into the air. I was sure I'd make it in the end. My family gave me the nickname Jumbli Jet (Jumbo Jet, altered to rhyme with Brett).

It's with this same blinkered determination that I follow my passion for VR. Being a solo-developer is hard, but I'm going to keep flapping.

Funnily enough, I have a vivid childhood memory of flying across the room, propelled by a high speed doggy-paddle. Later in life I came to understand this memory as my first lucid dream. After practising lucid dreaming for a long time, I've now flown through the clouds on many occasions and ventured far and wide. Lucid dreaming is fantastic, but most people find them difficult to achieve. I think of VR as lucid dreaming for the masses with the added benefit of sharing the experience. I've finally found a way to take you with me on my adventures :)
